SUBRANG CLASSIC SEMI-PLASTIC EMULSION
Subrang Classic Semi-Plastic Emulsion is a premium top-quality water-based smooth semi-emulsion paint. It gives a smooth velvety (flat) finish and provides an extra edge in opacity and covering. It is suitable for interior surfaces only.
Recommended for use on: Masonry work, brick, cement renderings, hard-board and chip-board. (Interior only). Application is to be done after proper dilution (depending on the application- brush, roller or spray) with clean drinkable (potable) water. Dark Shades are to be applied with Roller. This product comes under distemper paint so it is not recommended to be washable.
The product is environmentally friendly and is completely free from harmful chemicals such as lead or added mercury etc.
Application Guide
New Concrete Surface:
Sand down the plaster with Emery stone apply one coat of Subrang Classic Wall Primer Sealer or Subrang Classic Water Based Wall Primer Sealer. Then for a smooth surface prepare the surface by applying 2 coats of Subrang Classic Wall Putty prepared. As new plastered surfaces are highly alkaline a coat of Subrang Classic Wall Primer Sealer or Subrang Classic Water Based Wall Primer Sealer is recommended for better alkali resistance. Then apply 2 to 3 coats of Subrang Classic Semi-Plastic Emulsion Paint.
Coating System: 1 Coat (Primer) + 2 Coats (Putty) +1 Coat (Primer) +2-3 Coats (Plastic Emulsion)
Old Painted Surface:
Remove all dust, Dirt and loose adhering or flaked paints by scarping with scraper (wall) or Emery Paper (for wooden substance). After scarping apply one coat of Subrang Classic Wall Primer Sealer or Subrang Classic Water Base Primer. Then apply Subrang Classic Wall Putty for filling, to smoothen the surface if required after which apply second coat of primer. After the surface has been properly prepared apply Subrang Classic Semi-Plastic Emulsion Paint (2 to 3 coats).
Coating System: 1 Coat (Primer) + 1-2 Coats (Putty if required) +1 Coat (Primer after Putty application) +2-3 Coats (Semi-Plastic Emulsion) Safety & Precautions

Theoretical Coverage: 14-16 m2 per liter per coat (Actual Coverage is dependent on substrate condition, application method, application condition and finishing appearance)

Application Method: Brush / Roller and spray, dilute (by volume) the paint 30 – 50 % of fresh drinking water (This is a recommended method of application. Care should be taken to ensure an even application to avoid film defects)
Packing: 0.91 Liter, 3.64 Liters & 14.56 Liters drum
Safety & Precautions
§ Make sure there is ample ventilation available before, during and after painting.
§ Keep children and pets away from painted areas and appliances.
§ When applying paint, it is preferable to wear eye safety goggles and dust mask.
§ Never leave opened container unattended.
§ To clean paint from your hands, use soap and water only.
Storage & Handling:
1. Keep away from heat and spark sources, away from direct sunlight.
2. Never breathe in dust, mist, gas or vapors from the dry product.
3. Keep the containers closed in storage.
4. Do not apply during rain/fog/mist/wind or when the temperature is below 5 C.
5. In case of eye contact: Wash with plenty of cold water and immediately consult a physician.
6. In case of ingestion: drink plenty of water or milk, do not induce vomiting, & consult a doctor.
7. In case of inhalation: remove the person to open fresh air area, provide artificial breathing if needed, and consult a doctor.
