GLIDE SUPER EXTRA SEMI-PLASTIC EMULSION

Recommended for:

Glide Super Extra Semi Plastic Emulsion can be used on new & old interior surfaces such as plaster, concrete, hard board, and chipboard and brick walls.

Application Guide

Surface Preparation

The surface to be painted should be clean, dry free from all loose material like efflorescence and old Flaking paint, uneven areas should be filled with Glide Super Extra Acrylic Base Wall Putty and leveled with emery paper before painting.

Condition during Application

The temperature of the substrate should not be less than 10^oC and at least 3^oC above the dew point of the air, temperature and relative humidity measured in the vicinity of the substrate.

Typical Paint System interior

1. 01 coat of Glide Super Extra Wall Primer Sealer.

2. 02 coats of Glide Super Extra Acrylic Base Wall Putty.

3. 03 – 04 coats of Glide Super Extra Semi Plastic Emulsion.

Technical Information:

Theoretical Coverage: 13-15 m² per liter per coat (Actual Coverage is dependent on substrate condition, application method, application condition and finishing appearance)

Color: As per shade card

Volume Solid: 40 % ± 2

Dry Film Thickness: 30 ± 3 um per coat (based on substrate condition)

Finish: Matt

Flash Point: None

Drying Time: 1 – 2 hours (Dependent on temperature and humidity)

Recoat Interval: 2 - 3 hours (Dependent on temperature and humidity)

Application Method: Brush / Roller and spray, dilute (by volume) the paint 30 – 50 %. (This is recommended method of application Care should be taken to ensure an even application to avoid film defects)

Packing: 0.91 Liter, 3.64 Liters & 14.56 Liters drum

Safety & Precautions

• Make sure there is ample ventilation available before, during and after painting.

• Keep children and pets away from painted areas and appliances.

• When applying paint, it is preferable to wear eye safety goggles and dust mask.

• Never leave opened container unattended.

• To clean paint from your hands, use soap and water only.

Storage & Handling

• Keep away from heat and spark sources, away from direct sunlight.

• Never breathe in dust, mist, gas or vapors from the dry product.

• Keep the containers closed in storage.

• Do not apply during rain/fog/mist/wind or when the temperature is below 5 °C.

• In case of eye contact: Wash with plenty of cold water and immediately consult a physician.

• In case of ingestion: drink plenty of water or milk, do not induce vomiting, & consult a doctor.

• In case of inhalation: remove the person to open fresh air area, provide artificial breathing if needed, and consult a doctor.
